SafePet Transportation – Pet Taxi Procedures

Although we have been operating under the state guidelines for Coronavirus, we are implementing additional measures for the sake of clients, the veterinary staff and our staff.

  1. Our PetPals will be provided with gloves and face coverings during pic-up & deliveries.

  2. Clients will need to bring the pet, food and/or medication outside to the SafePet vehicle or meet outside near vehicle. We will not be able to assist bringing the pet out of the house to the vehicle during pick-up and delivery to compile with social distancing and safety of all.

  3. Arrival at the vet office, the PetPals will contact the vet office upon arrival via telephone and will wait outside for the vet office personnel or technicians to gather the pet from SafePet vehicle for the examination.

  4. At the end of the visit, vet office personnel or technician will need to bring the pet outside to the SafePet vehicle.

  5. PetPals will contact the client when on-road to return to residence for delivery with an ETA in order to meet for curbside delivery.

  6. PetPals will contact the client when on-road to return to residence for delivery with an ETA in order to meet for curbside delivery.

These precautions are to limit the amount of human interaction during the transport to assure that all parties are limited to any exposure of COVID–19 and compile with the safety of social distancing. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and are happy to assist in this time of need.   SafePet goal is to best assure the safety of the client, vet personnel and SafePet team.
